About This Role:

As part of our Commercial Strategy and Market Access service line, the Sr. Associate I / II, Business Strategy and Analytics, is a critical member of project teams helping our clients identify and evaluate opportunities, develop strategic insights, and outline actionable solutions. Our clients span a multitude of sectors, with a particular focus on MedTech, Diagnostics, and Digital Health. The Sr. Associate is responsible for data collection, synthesis, and project execution and delivery.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Collect, synthesize, analyze, and interpret data from various primary and secondary sources in collaboration with the broader team
  • Assess technology and competitor landscapes to inform product/technology roadmaps and strategic recommendations 
  • Structure business analysis including market sizing, SWOT, modeling, and forecasting
  • Reviews and enhances preliminary drafts of deliverables, provides constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development, management, and provision of technical training.

 

Qualifications:

Required skills:

  • Advanced degree required for both levels:
  • Sr Associate I
    • Master’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., biomedical engineering, biology, neuroscience, biotechnology, biomedical sciences or related field) and 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in consulting
    • PhD in a scientific discipline (e.g., biomedical engineering, biology, neuroscience, biotechnology, biomedical sciences or related field) plus 0-1 years relevant work experience, preferably in consulting, venture capital, private equity, or relevant industry 
  • Sr Associate II
    • Master’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., biomedical engineering, biology, neuroscience, biotechnology, biomedical sciences or related field) and 2-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in consulting
    • PhD in a scientific discipline (e.g., biomedical engineering, biology, neuroscience, biotechnology, biomedical sciences or related field) plus 1-3 years relevant work experience, preferably in consulting, venture capital, private equity, or relevant industry 
    • Experience managing complex project workstreams
  • Strong work experience in a scientific or related technical field, with an emphasis on Medical Devices, Diagnostics, and Digital Health
  • Ability to independently lead project workstreams 
  • Strong analytical skills. Modeling and forecasting skills highly desired
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex business concepts to a multi-disciplinary audience
