The Job Profile 

We are looking for a Publicity Assistant to join the team. Reporting to the Publicity Director, this role will provide a range of administrative support to the Publicity team. The role will also give the successful candidate the opportunity to be closely involved with publicity campaigns.

 

The Job Role

The job role is predominantly administration based including but not limited to; managing publicity enquiries and the publicity email inbox, to arranging travel and accommodation for author tours and events along with helping the wider team updating databases and schedules.

 

The Candidate Profile

This is an entry level position, and an ideal role for anyone looking to begin a career in book publicity with potential for growth within a busy department. They will have confident verbal and written communication skills, and able to build relationships both internally and externally with ease. A prowess for multi-tasking and innovative thinking is a must, as is exemplary organisational skills and an eye for detail, the ability to handle a variety of tasks at a time. A team player and the ability to work in a creative, collaborative, fast paced environment with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
