AULT a company of Alta Equipment Group, is seeking a full-time Shipper/Receiver for our Waterloo, QC branch. The main responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:
Summary of responsibilities
- Maintain secure records of inbound and outbound shipments
- Use system to ensure inventory is properly maintained, sales orders, purchase orders, etc.
- Pack materials for customer orders
- Unpack materials for inventory replenishment
- Ensure quality control of goods by checking incoming and outgoing shipments
- Schedule incoming and outgoing shipments
- Safely operate company vehicles: forklift, 4x4, loader, etc.
- Prepare and/or approve shipping documents (i.e. bills of lading, invoices, etc.)
- Report damaged stock or equipment to supervisor
- Ensure that all safety measures are observed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Skills required
- Bilingual, written and spoken (mandatory)
- High school diploma
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Attention to detail
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to regularly lift loads up to
