Starting Pay Rate is $28.76/hr and increases to $31.76/hr after 90 days. 

Employees regularly assigned to any shift scheduled to start between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. shall receive a shift premium of seventy-five cents ($0.75) per hour. Employees regularly assigned to any shift scheduled to start between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight shall receive a shift premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour.

Position Schedule: 6am-4:30am, Wednesday- Saturday.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up, tear down and change over all production machinery, as required.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance required on production equipment and      systems, as assigned.
  • Keep up-to-date records on all maintenance performed according to SOP’s, logbooks, work orders, etc.
  • Manufacture, with little assistance, spare parts and machine parts, as required.
  • Demonstrated trouble shooting capability on production equipment to include all electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs.
  • Order spare, or replacement parts, as required.
  • Maintain all production areas, buildings and roads and grounds mechanically and aesthetically.
  • Be able to work from sketches, mechanical drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
  • Train departmental colleagues to enhance departmental cross –training and capability for new or existing processing equipment.
  • Assist Project Engineers, as directed.
  • Observe all shop, equipment and production floor safety practices.
  • Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean, organized and professional manner.
  • Maintain all assigned equipment and/or facilities in good working order in accordance with SOP’s and current Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines.  Prepare/maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in process improvement activities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED.

Associates Degree or Graduate from an accredited and certified Technical School and one to two years related experience OR extensive generalist experience.

Must have experience in one of the following disciplines: 

Electricity Technologies, Industrial Technology, Welding, Machine Shop, HVAC and/or Control Systems.

Must be willing to work in a sterile environment that requires aseptic gowning.
