Purchasing - Lead Receiver

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Receiver in Miami, FL (10min drive from MIA Airport).

Responsibilities:

• Receive ordered merchandise and verify quantity.
• Check received merchandise (quality and quantity) and reject unacceptable merchandise according to internal procedures.
• Check delivery notes.
• Distribute merchandise internally according to food safety rules and storage orders.
• Adheres to the HACCP and all other food safety rules. (e.g., FIFO, date marking, correct storage etc.)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in storing and handling merchandise, preferably in the food industry.
• Proactive and self-organized.
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary.
• Flexibility (different shifts–days, nights, weekends, holidays).
