We are currently recruiting a Production and Planning Coordinator who would love to join our enthusiastic DO & CO team and implement the best industry practices for our luxury airline catering operation.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Create, maintain, and update airline food menu specifications.
  • Coordinate and communicate changes to menu specifications or other menu related information within different departments and with clients.
  • Take notes on menu specifications during presentations and ensure all dishes are properly weighed, recorded, and photographed.
  • Liaise with chefs to gather menu details and recipes.
  • Conduct monthly meetings to discuss changing menus with culinary, purchasing and accounts team.
  • Prepare all necessary administrative work as well as assist in client menu presentation as needed.
  • Support Costing Analyst with production planning.

  

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Economics Statistics or Finance
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Knowledge of culinary arts highly desired; strong interest in the Food Service Industry is a plus.
  • Strong Systems aptitude, including, but not limited to Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and ERP systems. (Microsoft Navision preferred)
  • Ability and desire to learn and excel within a growing, entrepreneurial organization.
  • The ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Hands-on approach, attention to detail; good analytical ability.
  • Forward thinking, self-driven and dedicated personality.
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
