Activities Assistant

Hillcrest Health Services is currently seeking a part-time Lifestyle Leader for our Hillcrest Silver Ridge in Gretna, NE!

The Lifestyle Leader is responsible to organize, plan and coordinate various recreation programs which meet the needs of all residents.

What are my responsibilities?

• Conducts activities that meet the interest, needs and abilities of all residents.
• Assist in developing the monthly calendar of scheduled activities and provides input for the monthly newsletter.
• Assist in teaching and retaining qualified volunteers.
• Decorate for holidays and special events.
• Assist in planning, organizing and facilitating all large facility events.
• Assess resident interest in activities.

What do I need to be considered?

• STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a recreational programming with the aging population or similar setting preferred.
