Hillcrest Health Services is currently seeking our next Executive Director of Culinary!

This position would be responsible for leading the overall operation of the department to ensure that all quality standards are met and residents are provided with outstanding dining experiences.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Oversees the culinary operation to ensure that meals are prepared in accordance with menus and meet all quality standards.
  • Ensures that appropriate inventory levels are maintained and all culinary expense accounts are within budget.
  • Ensures that kitchen sanitation is properly maintained.
  • Responds timely to resident concerns regarding the dining experience.
  • Manages the department labor and expenditures in accordance to budget.
  • Develops and implements ongoing training for culinary team members.

What do I need to be considered?

  • STAR mentality (Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful).
  • At least three years’ supervisory experience in a culinary role.
  • At least two years’ experience as an executive chef.
  • Previous experience in senior living preferred.
  • ServSafe certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree or training in Culinary Arts required.
