Home Health CNA – Day Shift Mon-Fri, flexible schedule

Come join our team! A Hillcrest Home Care CNA/Home Health Assistant provides direct client services in the home, working under the supervision of the case manager. Our home health CNAs take vital signs, assist with bathing, and report client health changes to the care team. Experience with electronic medical record use, HIPPA regulations and prior experience making home visits is a plus. The ideal CNA candidate has the ability to work in an independent setting, follow the established care plan, and provide friendly and compassionate service.

This is a part-time position, however full-time hours (with benefits) may be an option due to agency growth. Hours are Day Shift Monday – Friday, no weekends or holidays.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Successful completion of the 75-hour Certified Nursing Assistant course 

• Active certification to practice as CNA in the State of Nebraska  

• Minimum one-year CNA experience 

• One year of experience as a home health assistant in a home care setting preferred 

• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) 

• Must maintain current driver's license and auto insurance coverage and have access to reliable transportation 

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of standards effectively 

• Proficient at basic computer/laptop, such as opening and closing Windows applications.
