Summary/Purpose 
Primary responsibility is to maintain and perform PM on the non-production systems in the plant by performing the following duties: 
 
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:  
•    Maintain grinding coolant and super finish filtration systems. 
•    Maintain daily records, filtration, and PM schedule as per TMS or machine condition. 
•    Remove grinding swarf and dispose of properly and daily maintenance/PM of the mop stations. 
•    Maintain the liquid evaporator system and keep on hand wastewater to a minimum & meet environmental standards. 
•    Work with EHS to keep ISO14001 certification. (Hazardous & nonhazardous waste disposal) 
•    Maintain chemical room inventories and track usage. (PM & 5S) 
•    Assist on-site vendor to maintain proper on hand quantities of all oils/liquids.  
•    Maintain air compressors and air dryers to hold a standard pressure within the plant.  
•    Maintain chill water plant and cooling towers with help from outside contractors. 
•    Maintain emergency generator. 
•    Perform general HVAC inspections & PM. 
•    General plant upkeep of the complete building & grounds. 
•    Maintain spare parts inventory for critical plant systems. 
•    Keep 5S in all system areas and auxiliary rooms. 
•    Work with maintenance on projects as needed. 
•    Other duties as assigned. 
 
Supervisory Responsibilities: 
•    This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 
 
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  
•    Should have good computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. 
•    Basic industrial machine knowledge with understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems. 
•    Basic knowledge of facility/plant systems 
•    Some training in or knowledge of ISO1400. 
•    Advanced fork truck driving ability is required. 
 
Preferred Education and Experience:  
•    Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and / OR five (5) or more years industrial maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•    The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to manufacturing areas, which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. 
•    Ability to lift to 75 pounds.
