Spring Education Group’s Early Childhood Education Division includes nearly 150 schools offering services from infant care through Pre-K/K programs, as well as summer camp and after-school programs. LePort Montessori Spectrum South is seeking Assistant Teachers to join our team. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of Montessori and childcare as well as fostering a collaborative space where our employees are valued. Our twelve-classroom school offers opportunities to grow, as well as the ability to apply each one's individual skills and talents. We offer a Spanish immersion program as well as the traditional Montessori program. Our curriculum includes gardening and cultural studies that intentionally aim to represent all members of our community.

Duration: Year-Round, Monday - Friday

This teacher becomes a team with the Head Teacher of the classroom. They work together to implement the curriculum. This person also maintains the classroom's organization and cleanliness with the support of the Head Teacher. At the end of the day, this teacher works with the Floaters to implement the afterschool program.

Role requires hands-on supervision of the children, an aptitude for respectful communication with the students, multitasking, cleaning & organizing skills, helping children with their bodily needs (eating/feeding, diapering, assisting to nap), and flexibility to pivot to meet the needs of the school.

The Essentials...
● Must successfully clear criminal background without exemption.
● Must be at least 18 years of age.
● Must have a minimum of a high school diploma.
● Early Childhood Education units (12 core or more or enrollment in ECE classes).
