General Responsibilities:
The Senior Provider Recruiter is responsible for sourcing candidates to fill identified roles, qualifying applicants, and providing a positive overview of the practice in which they will be working within Thundermist Health Care. This position will actively source candidates locally and nationally as needed to fill open positions and create a pipeline of future candidates for our provider groups. Utilizing proactive sourcing and recruitment techniques the senior provider recruiter will lead these efforts in conjunction with HR leadership. The Senior Provider Recruiter will be responsible for the sourcing and coordination of all the provider recruitment efforts at the health center.  The Provider Recruiter will work to meet the provider recruitment development strategies and goals identified in the HR and organizations strategic plan. The position will be responsible for managing clear and effective communication between the health care organization, candidates, local provider groups, and be expected to oversee timely completion of contracts. This is a high-volume, high visibility recruiting environment dealing with a variety of unique specialties and completion of projects.    

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
•    Two (2) years medical recruiting experience or similar experience with proven track record of success
•    Must have comprehensive understanding of health care industry, provider market, and medical specialties.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong motivational and leadership skills, ability to work successfully within a matrix organization, excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
•    Knowledge of full life cycle recruiting process and recruiting strategy from sourcing to closing and signing candidates.


Preferred Qualifications: 

   Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
•    SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification credential.
•    Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce 
•    Candidates who do not meet all the preferred qualifications are encouraged to apply. 


Significant Job Functions:
•    Collaborate with HR teams and site leaders in support of provider related activities.  
•    Works within HR but in conjunction with the Director of Talent Acquisition to plan, organize, and control all HR related activities of the provider practices.
•    Meet the provider development strategies and goals identified in the strategic plan.
•    Develops a recruitment strategy with the CHRO and Director of Talent Acquisition based on the job market, credentials and number of vacancies.
•    Participates in the full recruitment activities including candidate identification sourcing and interviewing, marketing, and advertising, reporting, and maintaining provider searches. 
•    Responsible for various recruitment methods, i.e., Thundermist Health Center’s website, cold calling prospective candidates, physician/provider career websites, advertising, direct mail, telemarketing, physician/provider career fairs, and physician databases. In-person recruiting activities 
•     Screens potential candidates through telephone interviews and reference checking to assure an appropriate match with an identified need. 
•    Works with Residency Programs to recruit current and future graduates to programs. Builds and maintains relationships with program coordinators, both internal and external


Physical Effort/ Environment:
•    This role is hybrid, which requires remote and onsite availability. The position requires extensive computer use in a general office environment.  Requires onsite availability at multiple  locations


Work Schedule Demands:
•    Full-time position of 40 hours per week. Workload may occasionally require working more than 40 hours per week


Communication Skills:
•    Must possess excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and in small groups to staff, supervisors, clinicians and the public.
