If so, we would like to talk to you about joining our talented team as the Life Enrichment Director. Touchmark on West Century is Bismarck/Mandan’s leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. 

In this role, you will enrich lives every day by overseeing an activities and wellness program that will meet the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents. 

 Duties for this position will include, but are not limited to, leading and developing the Life Enrichment team in order to arrange, organize, and assist with activities both on and off campus; overseeing the Transportation Department; and overseeing and executing a wellness plan for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care based on personal interests and skills, physician recommendations, wellness goals, and personal care requirements.

Requirements:

• A commitment to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers

• Have a bachelor’s degree in a field related to Health and Wellness or Life Enrichment, plus two years’ experience with a retirement activities program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Have experience managing direct reports, as well as the ability to build effective, cohesive teams

• Availability to work occasional weekend or evening hours

• Ability to manage multiple priorities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills

• Have a general understanding of basic accounting and budget development procedures

• Be enthusiastic about working with residents and care team supervisors in order to develop life enrichment goals, programs, and plans for each resident

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a genuine interest in working with a senior population
