Touchmark at Emerald Lake is McKinney's leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Memory Care Administrator! 

As the Memory Care Administrator, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents receive the highest level of dignity and care. You will serve as the primary point of contact for residents or resident families regarding resident care. You will observe residents to ascertain if needs are being addressed, and report pertinent information and related recommendations to the Health Services Director. You will partner with the Staffing Coordinator to recruit and onboard new team members. You will help manage, mentor, and coordinate with the Resident Care Manager, Medication Aides, and Caregiver team.

 

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, social work, psychology, gerontology, or related field.
  • A current Texas Administrator license is required
  • CPR/AED certification preferred.
  • Eligible for continuing education credits and/or Best Friends Certification 

 

 The ideal candidate will: 

  • Be committed to 100% customer satisfaction and offering the highest level of hospitality
  • Have the ability to read and write English in order to follow and give oral and written instructions;
  • Must be able to complete required paperwork and filing with a high degree of accuracy;
  • Have the ability to observe prospects and current resident’s health status and communicate observations in a professional and intelligent manner;
  • Have the ability to assess residents for physical and/or cognitive decline and assist resident or their families with transitioning to the next level of care;
  • Be physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, moving equipment, and performing other related tasks;
  • Have the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. or the equivalent of one-half of an adult (as in a two-person transfer);
  • Must be able to explain clearly to prospects, residents, families, and employees the policies and procedures of the community;
  • After receiving the appropriate training, must be able to operate standard business equipment such as computers, various software programs, 10 key machines, copiers, fax machines, and telephones;
  • Full-time on-site physical presence is required for this position.
  • Must be able to work on-site and provide care directly to residents through clinical outbreaks of flu, norovirus, and other diseases including pandemic situations, and as determined
