The Wistar Institute has an opening for a Research Assistant to join the lab of Dr. Luis Montaner. The Montaner laboratory combines virological and immune system-based research focused on COVID and HIV cure research through long-standing community partnerships and clinical trials research. Duties include lab maintenance (inventory, ordering, lab operations support), whole blood isolation, flowcytometry, ELISAs, work in BSL-2+, molecular biology, and cell-mediated assays.

A bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (or equivalent) is required. Experience working in a laboratory is preferred.
