As a Senior Associate - Production you will be responsible for assisting the Production Supervisor with tasks associated with day-to-day operations and manufacturing needs, as well as setting an example and acting as a role model for other production employees

 

What You Will Do At Acme:

  • You will oversee production equipment to ensure it is operating to efficiently, effectively and meeting company quality standards.
  • You will monitor product quality and yields. 
  • Support the Supervisor with documentation including production records, weight checks, etc.
  • You will model a respectful workplace, promoting Quality Assurance, Food Safety, teamwork, and other company led policies.
  • You will act as a mentor to new employees and assist with their training. 
  • You will work to maintain clean and safe work areas for employees.
  • You will fill in for production staff as needed when absences occur
  • Support in the assembly and breakdown of equipment at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.


About You

Your Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ year’s previous manufacturing, production, especially food production experience preferred.


Your Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds. Specific lifting requirements vary by job function.
  • Ability to work in temperatures in upper 30's range with air flow from refrigeration units.
  • Attention to detail and ability to take ownership of tasks. 
  • Must be reliable, honest and proactive.
  • Must be able to communicate well with others.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible by adjusting priorities on the fly. 
  • Excellent attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Completion of training programs as assigned and/or required including standard of work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Frequent hand motion.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
  • Ability to work in temperatures in upper 30's range with air flow from refrigeration units.
  • Exposure to low level of noise due to close proximity to the work area.
  • Exposure to uneven ground; floor angles toward the drainage systems.

  • Observe and follow all safety rules.
  • Wear required PPE.
  • Follow mandated OSHA regulations.
  • Report all incidents including near misses immediately.
