Who we are looking for:

 

The Commercial Strategic Account Manager (CSAM) works with various levels of our clients’ organizations including the C-Level contacts, while maintaining an understanding of the client(s) programs, needs and expectations. The CSAM will understand the value that ACV provides to the client and continuously demonstrate why ACV is the right partner to help them achieve their goals and liquidation strategies. To provide this exceptional service, the CSAM will work with all areas of the ACV organization including internal operations, field operations, titles, inside sales, IT, product, and marketing, in coordinating the delivery or enhancement of existing services and developing new or revised strategies. The CSAM must influence others by effectively advocating on behalf of our client and demonstrating the value added to the client and ACV.

What you will do:

 

  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to establish and document best practices and SOPs.
  • Continuously assess and optimize operational workflows.

 

  1. Integrated Sales Strategy:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies and processes to achieve overall business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to enhance sales approaches.

 

  1. Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee end-to-end operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement and refine operational processes to streamline workflows.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization.

 

  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Facilitate collaboration among departments such as IST, OST, Payments, Titles, Business operations and analytics.
  • Act as a liaison between teams, fostering open communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance overall business performance.

 

  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Manage and nurture client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Address client concerns and collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to boost client engagement, inventory, and sales.

 

  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive reports on sales and operational metrics.
    1. Excel and SalesForce proficiency.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Present findings to leadership and recommend strategic adjustments.

 

What you will need: 

 

  • Must have been employed with ACV Auctions for at least one year or have at least two years of key account management experience outside of ACV
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and business systems experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in integrated sales and operations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and other relevant tools.
  • Auto industry, repossession, and/or remarketing experience is a plus.
