The Opportunity:
ACV/Monk provides visual expertise through Computer Vision and Deep Learning algorithms. Today, the AI is able to detect and classify damages on any vehicle, with photos taken from a smartphone. The company is already working with international leading players, such as our parent company ACV Auctions (USA), but also CAT logistics (Europe) Getaround (France), Autobiz (Europe) or Hgreg (Canada).
We are building a world-class API-based damage detection system. We are looking for a great QA engineer which is eager to help us build a high-performance reliable product to support the efforts of our Product, Back-end, and ML team. Come and join us to build the future of vehicle damage detection.
This is a great opportunity to work between the product, software, and business teams. As the company grows, QA is becoming increasingly important in shaping new features quickly, ensuring that no regression is introduced and that product requirement are taken into account.
Missions:
- Develop a scalable testing framework to ensure that product/business needs are aligned with tech features deliveries
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs with the Backend, Frontend and Product Team in order to cover all products: App, SDK, and API
- Propose concrete solutions to the product and/or possibly implement these solutions to fix the identified bugs
Skills
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Fluent in Python, Git, CI methodologies
- Be comfortable with the concepts of an API and be used to working with it on a daily basis.
- Be able to perform manual testing on frontend applications
- Product-oriented: being obsessed with delivering fully tested great product
