Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for dispatching and monitoring the maintenance of approximately 175+ healthcare clinics throughout the country utilizing a work order management platform (CMMS) and excellent customer support skills.   This person will report to the Senior Facilities Manager and is based at our Maitland FL office.

 

Duties to Include:

• Process work orders from field users and dispatch appropriate service vendors

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders via email and CMMS

• Responsible for overseeing maintenance activities for assigned service territory

• Coordinates, oversees, and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors

• Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor, and seeks approvals as necessary

• Manage building and equipment maintenance schedules

• Assists with management of capital projects and leasehold improvements as assigned

• Reviews leases and interprets tenant/landlord responsibilities

• Uses Microsoft Excel to maintain project schedules, vendor directories, and other department records

• Analyze and compile data for special reporting as requested by management

• Detailed, organized, and dependable- with excellent follow-through and communication skills

• Assumes additional responsibilities and assists with special projects as needed

 

Education and Experience

• 1-3 years working in a professional business environment

• Basic construction, HVAC, and Electrical knowledge is strongly preferred

• Healthcare, technical, or bio-medical equipment knowledge is ideal

• Exceptional organizational and written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; must meet deadlines and perform job functions within outlined expectations

• Comfortable and confident managing multiple assignments and deadlines

• Must be able to operate multiple computer displays using CMMS and BAS software platforms, spreadsheets, applications and/or databases.

• Occasional (<5%) travel may be required.   Hybrid/WFH opportunities possible.
