Albright College, a liberal arts college in Reading, PA, is seeking a Lecturer of Fashion. This is an opportunity to join a growing fashion department as a full-time tenure track or non-tenure track position for Assistant Professor of Fashion Design or Instructor of Fashion Design depending upon candidate credentials. 

Candidate should be student-centric and enthusiastic about contributing to the success of a well-established and growing fashion department.  The ideal candidate is a versatile teacher, with demonstrated teaching excellence, able to synthesize practical and academic experiences within a liberal arts education.  Proficiency in all aspects of fashion design is required, including knowledge and experience in conceptual design, CAD, illustration, and product development.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Fashion or related field, MFA or MA/MS degree in Fashion or related field.
  • Evidence of proficiency in Fashion illustration and fashion design as well as CAD skills.
  • Experience in teaching college-level courses.
  • Instructor candidates must hold a Master’s degree.
