Athletic Trainer - per diem

Albright College is seeking a qualified and certified Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team on a per diem basis. The Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive athletic training services to our student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency care during practices, games, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide athletic training services to student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment.
  • Provide emergency care and first aid as needed during practices, games, and events.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation plans.
  • Communicate effectively with coaches, athletes, and parents regarding injury management and return-to-play decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Sports Medicine team to ensure the health and safety of all student-athletes.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
  • Current certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
  • Valid Pennsylvania state athletic training license.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Professional liability insurance with coverage limits of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience working in a collegiate athletic training setting.
  • Master’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
