Position Summary:

The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership (OSIL) Operations Intern will be responsible for day-to-day operations, enforcing policies, & executing procedures that align with serving the student body. The Intern will perform a variety of duties and hold several key responsibilities in aiding professional staff and student clubs / organizations.

 

Essential Job Functions:

The OSIL Operations Intern will be responsible for:

  1. Managing the Student Center Desk schedule and workers
  2. Reviewing Student Center Tabling Forms
  3. Creating a variety of marketing material for OSIL initiatives as well as managing the OSIL social media
  4. Tracking club packages as they arrive for their distribution
  5. Tracking OSIL supplies inventory for student org use
  6. Managing the bulletin boards in the Student Center
  7. Manage the OSIL email as well as assist pro staff as needed

The individual is routinely exposed to indoor conditions, minimum outdoor weather and temperature extremes, and moderate noise level.

 

Qualifications/Prerequisites:

 

  1. SKILLS
  1. Good organization and time management
  2. Professional communication
  3. Knowledgeable in marketing and content creation (Canva, social media, Photoshop, Adobe, etc…)
  4. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  5. Socially adept and assertive, able to manage individuals, and work in a team
  6. Detail oriented
