Purpose

 

Aldridge Pite LLP has an immediate need for a processor in its bankruptcy department.

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Review daily reports to ensure that files are handled efficiently and timely
  • Review information and documents provided to determine if referral is warranted
  • Preparation of Motions for Relief from Stay, Assignments and Reaffirmation Agreements
  • Provide support to paralegals, management and attorneys
  • Assist with additional projects as needed

 

Job Requirements

  • Previous law firm experience is preferred but not required
  • Bankruptcy or Mortgage Servicing experience preferred but not required

 

General Competencies

  • Must have the ability to communicate with attorneys
  • Must have the ability to interpret client systems
  • Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
  • Must be organized and multi-task oriented
  • Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
