POSITION SUMMARY:  

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate application of debtor and/or customer payments to their respective accounts in CLS Collections Software. Payments are received by check, ACH and wire.  
  • Analyze and identify payment exceptions that could not be easily applied. This requires research and working closely with the Client and/or Operations.  
  • Assist in the remitting of debtor funds to client. 
  • Perform remote bank deposits and other bank transactions as needed. 
  • Enter check requests (accounts payable) into CLS collection software. 
  • Review accounts that have been overpaid and issue refunds to consumers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • College Diploma/Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred but open to all degrees).
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Willingness to learn and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to meet strict internal and external deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed. 
  • Willingness to work independently as well as team.
