POSITION SUMMARY:
- Responsible for the timely and accurate application of debtor and/or customer payments to their respective accounts in CLS Collections Software. Payments are received by check, ACH and wire.
- Analyze and identify payment exceptions that could not be easily applied. This requires research and working closely with the Client and/or Operations.
- Assist in the remitting of debtor funds to client.
- Perform remote bank deposits and other bank transactions as needed.
- Enter check requests (accounts payable) into CLS collection software.
- Review accounts that have been overpaid and issue refunds to consumers.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Diploma/Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred but open to all degrees).
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to learn and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to meet strict internal and external deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
- Willingness to work independently as well as team.
