Job Description:

The law firm of Aldridge Pite is currently looking for a Fee Notice and Payment Change Notice Processor.  This position in the firm’s Bankruptcy Department will be responsible for the preparation and processing of Fee Notices and Payment Change Notices filed in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Cases. This position is also responsible for updating internal and client systems. Duties include:

  • Preparation of Fee Notice
  • Preparation of Payment Change Notice
  • Conducting Quality Control on Fee Notice and Payment Change Notice
  • Packaging of all essential documents for filing
  • Filing of documents with the bankruptcy court
  • Communication and follow up with clients for necessary information and documentation
  • Updating client systems
  • Provide support to paralegals and attorneys
  • Assist with additional projects as needed

 

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum High School diploma. 
  • Bankruptcy or Mortgage Servicing experience preferred but not required
  • Must have the ability to communicate with Trustees, Bankruptcy Courts, Local Counsel and Debtors Attorneys
  • Must have ability to interpret client systems.
  • Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
  • Must be organized and multi-task oriented
  • Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
