SUMMARY

Responsible for providing customer service and support to assist Producers and service team in supporting existing accounts. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Review requests for Certificates of insurance and issue Certificates of insurance;

•    Assist with requests for auto ID cards;

•    Support Service team with preparing pre-renewal client servicing;

•    Request loss runs and NCCI experience Mod data;

•    Respond to accounting inquiries with guidance from Service team including review of AR/AP issues in EPIC;

•    Assist with renewal accounts in EPIC and renewal Batch cert processing in CSR24;

•    Assist with the preparation of presentations and/or proposals for clients;

•    Gather information for applications;

•    Request additional forms and endorsements for active policies from Carriers/Underwriters;

•    Compose correspondence to insured and/or underwriters;

•    Inputs applications and creates letters, and other forms of correspondence;

•    Prepares draft certificate templates for review and approval;

•    Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);

•    Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates;

•    Performs other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Two (2) or more years related work experience

Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by Supervisor

Valid Insurance License within 120 Days

Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal

 


SKILLS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills

Good problem solving and time management skills

Intermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm)

Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
