SUMMARY

Responsible for leading corporate file audits and related activities. Act as a resource for guidance and education for Risk Audit Associates. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead file audits as assigned by reviewing books of business for account selection and assignment and reviewing completed audit forms for timely audit completion.

  • Post-audit assists with gathering and consolidating audit results, analysis of data, executive summary preparation, audit checklists, and overall recommendations/action plans for the audited office.

  • Assist in training and development of Risk Audit Associates to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the audit process and industry knowledge required to perform job duties effectively and efficiently.

  • Evaluate and recommend ideas for upgrading the audit process and implementing audit form changes.

  • When onsite travel is involved, assist with travel logistics.

  • Contributes to projects as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

One (1) or more years of insurance file audit experience, preferably on the brokerage side. 

Seven (7) or more years of property & casualty and/or benefits agency operations experience

Insurance agent license preferred

Project management experience preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Familiar with insurance agency management systems, Applied Epic preferred

Ability to interact with and make presentations to various levels of management and account teams throughout the company

Ability to follow up on requests in a politely persistent manner

Ability to communicate with individuals of varying management levels
