Corporate Risk Management Analyst

Responsible for supporting the needs of the Risk Management Department in claims reporting, corporate audit program processing, compliance, corporate insurance program administration, and other needs as assigned.
• Manages subpoenas and DOI complaints companywide, coordinating with staff, Legal and Producer/service team to ensure timely handling and/or referral to counsel, as needed;
• Assists with Corporate safety program and maintains program information;
• Organizes and participates in corporate audit processes, captures results and creates and presents audit reports; performs as Audit Coordinator for Corporate Audit Program. Coordinates activities and logistics for auditors in preparation and while on-site at audits. Handles audit preparations and schedules internal audits on companywide basis. Post audit, consolidates audit results, analysis of the data, and prepares executive summaries, audit checklists, and overall recommendations/action plan for the office being audited. Partners with Compliance Manager to deliver final audit results to management;
• Maintains Risk Management data including E&O data, legal actions data, insurance program/policy data, legal/E&O payment data, subpoenas, regulatory actions, and DOI complaints;
• Assists with quarterly Risk Management reports and participates in claim reviews;
• Maintains nationwide E&O attorney panel records for the department;
• Partners with Licensing to respond to RFP requests by utilizing AlliantNet legal actions data to provide reports;
• Assists with contract review, agency compliance issues, as well as procedural issues and implementation;
• Provides assistance to all team members as needed;
• Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three (3) or more years internal audit experience, preferably in the insurance field
Strong property & casualty background; experience with benefits, agency operations, and audit functions preferred
Familiarity with claims agency and carrier business areas
Familiarity with agency compliance issues, and DOI regulations; licensing background preferred
Experience collaborating with clients, attorneys, and carriers desired
Project Management experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Great attention to detail and solid problem solving skills
Advanced planning, organizational and prioritization skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
