SUMMARY 

Responsible for building and maintaining positive, productive, and professional ongoing relationships with external, internal and prospective agents, advisors, producers, and companies.  Maintains and keeps pace with the changing financial wellness and individual markets, providing new and innovative programs and cost effective solutions to build revenue streams. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

•     Essential Duties and Responsibilities   

•     Builds and maintains positive, productive, professional ongoing relationships with external, internal and prospective agents, advisors, producers, and companies. 

•     Conducts contract renewals and negotiations on assigned clients; reviews and suggests amendment or contact changes. 

•     Provides assistance to ensure that appropriate contractual service and performance standards are developed and maintained. 

•     Attends annual meetings of various clients and relays information obtained to Administration Managers. 

•     Provides quotes for individual solution programs offered by the company, namely Retirement Planning Center; prepares proposals and contracts for new business prospects. 

•     Acts as a resource for administration; assists in the resolution of difficult, complex needs, and provides guidance in programming utilization; 

•     Interacts positively and works cooperatively with other departments so as to facilitate outstanding service to clients and effective resource utilization; assists, coaches, and develops team members. 

•     Participates in meetings, projects, and business planning as required by senior management; reports results, provides input, and performs special projects in support of and as assigned by senior management. 

•     Provides continuous analysis of benefit programs and recommendations for program changes and/or cost containment measures. 

•     Works in collaboration with various corporate departments to create, develop and order advertising materials for various clients. 

•     Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity; enters and maintains complete and accurate information. 

•     Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates. 

•     Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance or related fields or combination of equivalent education and experience 

Master's Degree in Business or related field 

Seven (7) or more years Business Management, Client Development or related fields within Insurance, Financial Services, or related industries 

 

SKILLS 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership ability 

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with ability to multi-task 

Effective client management skills 

Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills 

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 

Ability to review carrier and vendor contracts
