ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams, with a strong emphasis on mentoring junior engineers. 

 

LOCATION

St Marys, Pennsylvania

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  

  • Regular attendance
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without accommodations
  • Creating innovative solutions for multiple projects
  • Mentor and train new engineers
  • Review work of junior engineers and provide constructive feedback
  • Present design ideas and test results to customers
  • Negotiating project and product terms with vendors
  • Overseeing the technical aspects of multiple projects
  • Ability to take limited or ambiguous information and develop an action plan

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline (Mechanical, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering) required. 
  • 10+ years of experience required.
  • Professional Certifications preferred, but not required.
  • Recognized technical expert
  • Ability to solve multiple issues simultaneously
  • Identifies root cause of quality issues
  • Leads by applying science, engineering, and processes uniquely
  • Proactively serves on functional leadership teams, when needed, to achieve business goals
  • Highly motivated to take ownership of technical issues
  • Effective in selling ideas/programs to leadership and customers
  • Mentors all employees irrespective of location and time difference
