LOCATION

Taunton, Somerset, TA2 8QY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create and maintain accurate product standard costings
  • Provide production analytics to understand and report site performance
  • Assist with systems migration to Oracle as required
  • Assist with customer contract negotiations by the provision of customer and product profitability
  • To provide the site controller with costs, revenue, and balance sheet analyses
  • Manage periodic cycle count and annual stocktake
  • Responsibility for updating Business, Planning and Consolidation (BPC) data, and reports including actual’s, forecast & Budgets
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and strategic planning process, and the annual Budget.
  • Responsibility for statutory accounting
  • Support External and Internal audits
  • To cover for other members of the finance team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector required
  • In-depth understanding of an ERP solution
  • Structured approach to problem-solving
  • Advanced Microsoft skills (macro level)
  • Analytical and self-motivated
  • Effective communicator at all levels
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Eager to learn new methods and tasks
  • Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus
