Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to assist in creating accurate and comprehensive physical descriptions for each job position at Positronic. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in job analysis and human resources. You will evaluate job tasks, assign ratings, and help develop physical description sections that will be integrated with existing job descriptions.

Key Projects

Evaluate Job Tasks:

  • Review and analyze the tasks associated with each job position at Positronic.
  • Gather data on the physical aspects and requirements of each task.

Assign Task Ratings:

  • Rate the physical demands of each task based on established criteria.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in task rating assignments.

Develop Physical Descriptions:

  • Create detailed physical descriptions for each job, reflecting the physical aspects and demands of the position.
  • Combine these descriptions with existing job descriptions for a comprehensive job profile.

Determine Job Level Ratings:

  • Total task ratings to determine a level rating for each job.
  • Provide a clear and accurate level rating that reflects the physical demands and complexity of the job.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Document the process and results of the job analysis.
  • Prepare reports and summaries of physical descriptions and job level ratings.

Assist with Integration:

  • Collaborate with the HR team to integrate physical descriptions with current job descriptions.
  • Ensure all information is accurately reflected and updated in job profiles.

Requirements

Education:

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Technical Writing or related field.

Physical:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and reach overhead.
  • Must be able to lift to 25lbs occasionally.

Program Attendance:

  • May 19th- August 5th, 2025
