Asbury Automotive Group Fixed Operations Trainer

The Fixed Operations Trainer assists the dealership's Fixed Departments in effective customer communications, customer service, building value in our products, and organizing for greater efficiency and customer retention. The Fixed Operations Trainer is responsible for supporting the dealership's Fixed Departments in effective customer communications and customer service, building value in the products we provide, and organizing for greater efficiency and customer retention. The Trainer will visit all of the Asbury Automotive Group markets to train dealership personnel.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Schedules classroom instruction using Asbury-produced training material and dealership one-on-one and small group training.
Works with the Regional Fixed Operations Directors, National Collision Director, General Managers, Service Managers, and Collision Center Managers to assist with the personnel who will benefit from advanced training
Works in all Asbury regions and dealerships
Repair order growth, enhanced customer experience, promotion of value for customers, customer retention, and improved effectiveness of our service advisors and collision estimators
Reports regularly to management concerning program and personnel progress, with an emphasis on training needs and efficacy
Focus areas for the Fixed Operations Trainers include Manufacturer-centered Express and Accelerated Service, Vehicle Walk-Around with Customers, Multipoint Inspection, Effective Sales presentations, Closing Service Sales, CSI, Tire and Chemical Sales, and Active Delivery.
Assists in keeping the training material up to date and contributes new material when appropriate
Treats all dealership personnel professionally and with respect
Schedules classes and activities while maintaining a shared calendar
Conducts themselves in an exemplary and professional manner at all times
Ensures training materials are maintained regionally to ensure coverage and minimize printing and shipping charges
Assists in other Asbury and dealership operations as requested
Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization
Must be 18 years of age
Must be able to pass the pre-employment screening (background & drug test)

Education & Experience
Two to four years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of previous automotive service advisor experience
Must be able to travel approximately 90% of the time
