The Benefits Analyst will play a key role in Asbury’s strategic goal of operational excellence.
This position is responsible for financial reporting, analysis, data integrity, compliance, and other related projects.
Duties/Responsibilities
Creates and prepares monthly executive dashboards.
Tracks monthly invoices.
Collects, analyzes, and summarizes data and trends.
Queries multiple databases and transmits census data to third-party vendors.
Participates in surveys and Benchmark best practices; researches industry and employment trends; tracks legislation and estimates its impact.
Collaborates with other departments, particularly the payroll, compensation, IT, and Finance.
Reviews and reconciles annual 1095’s and 1094 transmittals prepared by third party.
ACA Compliance includes monitoring hours worked by part-time team members.
User Acceptance Testing related to system updates and configuration, including the third-party benefits administration system (Businessolver) for the Annual Enrollment configuration.
Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization.
Weekly / Semi-Monthly Benefit deduction loads into Ceridian Dayforce and complete weekly/semi-monthly benefit comparisons.
Must be 18 years of age
Must be able to pass the pre-employment screening (background & drug test)

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics
3-6 years of professional experience in human resources, benefits, payroll, or finance.
Must be comfortable working with large sets of data and pulling data from multiple systems
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel (i.e. V-Look ups, Pivot Tables)
Experience with creating reports with Access
Must be willing to learn Cognos, XML, and File Transfer Protocol
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce, Fidelity PSW, or BenefitSolver is a plus
Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
The position will have limited travel requirements, less than 10%.
