The Payroll Support Specialist assists our Payroll Team and Operations Team across all dealerships to ensure accurate and timely processing of various support functions.

 

Essential Requirements

  • High volume customer support experience
  • Acute attention to detail, process, and organization
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills; friendly, empathetic, and willing to help others – both customers and team members
  • Strong sense of urgency coupled with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Intermediate Excel and MS Office skills
  • Meets department productivity and quality standards

Position Responsibilities

  • Monitor Solar Winds (ticketing system) queue, assign tickets as needed, research, document, and resolve issues promptly, accurately, and efficiently handle incoming calls to the payroll hotline
  • Set up new employees in UKG and various applications
  • Process weekly pay cards and monthly permanent cards
  • Process supervisor updates
  • Work with the dealerships to resolve payroll issues and concerns
  • Receive and distribute all incoming mail items, including but not limited to Garnishments and VOEs
  • Answer questions and assist with issues related to pay and time for all associates
  • Assist new hires with login issues
  • Assist employees with self-service applications
  • Support the processing team with administrative tasks
  • Understand industry standards and functions, company policies, absentee policies, and pay practices
  • Other responsibilities that your supervisor may assign

Qualifications

  • High volume customer support experience
  • 1+ year of Payroll experience (UKG and Dayforce preferred)
  • 1+ year of HR Admin experience
  • Strong computer skills
