The purpose of the Payroll Specialist is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates and to process member payroll transactions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Payroll experience is required for this position.

Processes payroll transactions

Processes Personnel Action Forms 

Maintains member receivables

Ensures accurate coding of payroll transactions

 

Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Assistant Controller/Payroll Manager

 

Knows and understands the Park Place Privacy and Information Securities Policy and adhere to its requirements

 

Attends weekly department meetings

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School or General Education Degree (GED)

Payroll experience is required

Dayforce experience preferred

Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
