ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Follows state motor vehicle laws on all transports.

· Able to see clearly during daytime or night time hours.

· Able to drive long distances.

· Able to drive automatic vehicles

· Maintains clean driving record.

· Maintains clean accident record.

· Ability to perform quick stops and starts in a vehicle in traffic.

· Ability to maintain concentration during long drives.

· Ability to read DX Instruction sheets

· Ability to read driving directions, maps, map apps

· Ability to do a walk around on a vehicle to inspect for damage

· Ability to check and read for the Monroney sticker on a vehicle

· Attendance

· Clock in and Clock out

 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Job attendance is a key duty in performing the other duties satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• No prior experience or training.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

· Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

· Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

· Ability to write simple correspondence.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

· Ability to read a map, map gps, or cell phone map application

· Ability to read detailed directional instructions

 

 

 

 

 

REASONING ABILITY

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

· Basic computer literacy skills, ability to learn/understand dealership management software

· Ability to use a keyboard and mouse

 

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Sitting in a variety of vehicles for long periods of time, Good eye sight (with or without glasses/contacts), Standing, Walking, Getting in and out of vehicles, occasionally lifting up to 25lbs
