Summary

The Senior Manager of Digital Marketing plays a crucial role in developing and implementing Aspen Surgical's e-commerce and digital roadmap. This individual is responsible for managing website operations, increasing awareness of Aspen Surgical and its offerings, driving traffic to the company website, encouraging conversions, and boosting sales. The Senior Manager of Digital Marketing will lead and execute Aspen Surgical's email marketing programs, website optimization, search engine optimization, content marketing, and digital advertising while managing website functionality with our website partners and consultants.  This role is open to an onsite, hybrid, or remote working arrangement.


In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity to:

  •  Establish the new Aspen Surgical website and custom sales tools among the team and its customers. Act as a "coach" and "player" as the team establishes e-commerce solutions and advises the organization on staffing needs for e-commerce and website success.
  • Manage the website/Optimizely e-commerce platform, its self-service portal, product information management system, Pardot Email campaigns, digital asset management system, and other digital media channels/tools as programs evolve.
  • Prioritize competing priorities to drive solutions that support business objectives. Develop and manage digital KPIs. Translate KPIs into insights that optimize customers' online experience and inform business decisions.
  • Drive website traffic using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) analytics and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) techniques.
  • Review online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance.
  • Manage lead requests and act as a resource for the commercial organization on lead management best practices.
  • Provide educational guidance, recommendations, and tools to the Aspen Surgical team to adopt digital marketing best practices and achieve successful metrics.
  • Select/manage third-party digital partners and suppliers.
  • Ensure seamless integration between marketing platforms and IT systems.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for website functional issues and collaborates with the appropriate internal and external resources to address the issues.
  • Comply with data privacy, security concerns, and regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) regarding digital marketing practices.

 

What You Need to Succeed in This Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, business, communications, or a related field required.
  • 8-10 years of experience in digital marketing, product marketing, marketing communications, or closely related field.
  • A minimum of five years direct accountability for successful digital marketing activities such as website product management, or e-commerce.
  • Three or more years of experience managing staff and/or outside resources (agencies, freelancers, consultants).
  • Experience in business-to-business, healthcare, or medical technology industries preferred.
  • Exhibits holistic thinking to drive end-to-end strategies and initiatives encompassing multiple functions.
  • Working knowledge of tech stack elements, including Salesforce, Pardot, Optimizely E-Commerce, Brandfolder, IFS, LinkedIn, and Product Information Management Systems.
  • Ability to utilize data and insights to solve business problems and define key opportunities
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills.
  • A track record of collaboration and accomplishments in cross-functional endeavors demonstrating the capability to partner and interact/influence all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated and willing to experiment, measure success, learn, adjust, and improve.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • An in-depth knowledge of digital platforms.
