Medical Billing Account Representative

Join our dynamic team as an Medical Billing Account Representative! This role provides essential support to our Client Information Services, ensuring accurate billing, resolving issues, and maintaining client records. You will play a crucial part in the billing process, data entry, credentialing, and medical assistance verification, contributing significantly to our operational success.

Responsibilities

• Processes, reviews, corrects and sends client statements.
• Answers and resolves billing inquiries.
• Ensures that services are correctly resolved at the end of the month.
• Organizes and maintains a filing system.
• Review monthly reports from career counselors, notify work if additional information is needed, correct small errors as needed.
• Manage the credentialing process for healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other licensed professionals.
• Communicate with providers to address any discrepancies or missing information.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and requirements, ensuring compliance at all times.

Required Knowledge Education and Skills

• Three years of related experience
• Highschool Diploma
• Proficient with Microsoft applications
• Prior customer service, accounting and/or administrative experience. 
• Cultural sensitivity and commitment to inclusivity in working with diverse populations. 
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to sensitive information.
