Health & Safety Regional Coordinator (Remote)

We have a dynamic position for a remote Health & Safety Regional Coordinator who will support, and monitor safety compliance activities of Authority Brands locations assigned within a specific region.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and revise the HSE management system including training, procedures, and operations requirements
  • Communicate regularly with the General Manager and other location contacts as necessary to ensure compliance
  • Verify compliance activities via monthly inspections by location to include training completion as indicated by the annual safety training calendar, OSHA record keeping and reporting, refrigerant and waste management
  • Monitor Driver Safety Program
  • Assist with Fleet Management
  • Support claims and incident management by receiving, verifying, and coordinating all aspects of a claim with the AB Claims Department, insurance resolution managers, and the AB location management through to closure
  • Investigate incidents to determine root cause, create corrective action, and monitor through to completion
  • Travel to company related events
  • Required to visit each responsible regional location once a year
  • Additional visits may be required as needed with organizational changes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, related degree, or minimum seven years HSE field experience is required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding government regulation, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Prior insurance claims experience is preferred but not required
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and proficient with Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, training, and organizational skills
