We are looking for a Regional Dining Services Director to join our team! Your main role will be directing all dining services activities for assigned communities, including financial performance, food quality, service, resident satisfaction, Director of Dining Service (DSD) training and development and associate relations. The Food Services Director will report to the Vice President of Culinary.

Responsibilities 

  • Completes operational standards compliance audits, analyzes individual community budgets working with DSD and Executive Directors to resolve quality & service concerns and assure budgetary compliance.
  • Continually assesses needs for the highest possible standards to ensure a top-quality operation for residents.
  • Visits and audits each community as needed, documents and distributes information.
  • Coordinates ongoing training of individual community dining teams and the DSD to ensure compliance.  Conducts staff training in-service as required. 
  • Audits communities to ensure purchasing compliance with Benchmark approved vendors.
  • Maintains state and local regulations to ensure the food service department is operating within the approved guidelines.
  • Attends staff meetings and/or resident committee meetings when appropriate.
  • Meets with Executive Director/Regional Operators to discuss, manage and monitor their expectations, resolve concerns and ensure resident and family satisfaction.
  • Attends regional meetings  to provide support with dining related financial and operational challenges.an 


Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent related experience.
  •  Requires a minimum of five years’ experience in a food service management capacity, with a minimum of two years’ experience in multi-unit management within the food service industry
  • Current certificates and/or licenses as required by Federal, State and Local Agency.
  • Current ServSafe certificate.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Completion of Certification of Allergen Training within thirty days of hire.
