We are looking for a Scheduler to join our team! As part of the Benchmark resident care team, your role will be to ensure staffing requirements for every work shift comply with both internal and external policies and regulations for the Traditional Assisted Living & Memory Care Departments. The Scheduler reports to the Resident Care Director (RCD).

Responsibilities:

• Works with the RCD and Mind and Memory Director (MMD) in developing and executing a work schedule plan that allocates the associates to the appropriate duties and shifts.
• Communicates and coordinates schedules with associates based on the needs of the community and the associates’ work availability.
• Finds coverage for vacant shifts due to callouts and/or tardiness.
• Coordinates associates’ requests for time off for vacation, health & wellness and holidays and endorses them to the RCD & MMD for approval.
• Report inconsistencies, schedule-related issues and shift/position vacancies to the RCD & MMD.
• Manage the inventory or medical and office supplies for the department from requisition, storage and distribution of supplies for the team.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma /GED required.
• Previous scheduling experience is required
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role in a licensed medical facility is preferred.
