TSS is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. 

As a Business Analyst, you will be essential in assessing and enhancing the Accessibility Program at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Your role involves providing support to advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at CMS by evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of agency guidance, best practices, and requirements. Collaborating closely with CMS components across multiple organizations to identify, prioritize, and address business requirements, crafting solutions that facilitate better decision-making and contribute to the organization's progress. Your work will make the CMS experience more accessible and inclusive by understanding the organization and enhancing overall access.

Work Location: Remote - Reporting to Baltimore, MD office

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Project Plan for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services tasks (Schedule and milestone tracking for project activities such as requirement gathering, content generation, research, and analysis of CMS-related materials.
  • Develop and manage CMS applications and data to enhance organizational processes.
  • Create and update application documentation, including training materials and end-user support.
  • Lead multiple projects, focusing on planning, implementation, communication, resource management, and risk management.
  • Foster collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure.
  • Perform post-project analysis to derive lessons learned and enhancement strategies.
  • Assist with CMS component definitions and development of analytical reports, and models to assess the impact of strategies.
  • Generate presentation materials.
  • Author communications.
  • Perform research activities and produce white papers.
  • Generate Reports based on analysis of data.
  • Facilitate meetings by leading, creating agendas, capturing meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Provide Weekly Contract Meeting support (Record meeting notes and assist in generating meeting minutes).
  • Perform reviews on team documentation and deliverables.
  • Manage client expectations and resolutions of client objectives.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop roadmaps and program activities.
  •  

Skills:

  • Effective in researching, compiling, analyzing, and interpreting information to identify solutions, project costs, and consequences, including the capability to understand underlying needs and prioritize government system functionality.
  • Knowledge of Project Management.
  • Knowledge of business principles, theories, practices, and operational characteristics.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to effectively edit documentation and develop content.
  • Develop and conduct in-person, online, and blended training.
  • High-level knowledge of healthcare plans and services.
