HVAC Specialist

SGS is seeking an HVAC Specialist at Lackland AFB, TX.

Position Description:  Assesses, troubleshoots, and maintains mechanical systems including HVAC and plumbing. 

Requirements:

Top Secret/SCI required.

Knowledge of wide range of facility and infrastructure mechanical systems, and facility condition assessment.  Understanding of Air Force Civil Engineering and Communications operations and work accomplishment system.

Minimum eight (8) years of experience

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft “Project”

Working knowledge of electrical, UPS, and alarm systems

Able to perform HVAC load calculations

Ability to interpret facility drawings, schedules, and specifications required

Highly desirable:

Air Force Civil Engineering experience, especially 32E, 3E171 or 3E191 AFSCs experience

MEAR, CEMIRT Team or RED HORSE experience

Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
