PURPOSE:

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for coordinating projects and activities related to the efficient delivery of human resources services across the organization. The position is both internally focused on supporting HR colleagues and externally focused in supporting clients.

 

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Talent Acquisition
    • Coordinates pre-employment drug testing scheduling
    • Communicates with new hires and their managers to ensure a positive onboarding experience
    • Manages centralized HR and Talent Acquisition e-mail inbox
    • Monitors and reviews post offer background results and follows up as needed with candidates, HR, Recruiters as well as the background check vendor
    • Coordinates and facilitates the onboarding and orientation process for new employee
  • Employee Services
    • Coordinates and facilitates the onboarding and orientation process for new employee
    • Manages incoming and outgoing department mail
    • Data Management
    • Collects data and generates reports for Audits, KPI's and AAP
    • Manage applicant and employee data
    • Assists new employees with new hire paperwork, including but not limited to paperwork related to background checks, employment authorization and relocation, when applicable
    • Maintains document management within HRIS
    • Assists in administration of user access within HRIS
    • Maintains I-9 compliance companywide
  • LMS Administration
    • Interface with SMEs to correctly assign role based trainings 
    • Respond to service tickets which include user troubleshooting, access requests, and procedure/training additions or updates
  • General Duties
    • Performs other administrative functions for Human resources to support Talent, HR Operations, Communications, and general HR teams
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources/related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Ability to work in a highly confidential environment
  • Proven experience with MS Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experience in HRIS and ATS

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • Previous experience with Ceridian/Dayforce HRIS and ATS
