SAP Manager, Integration

PURPOSE:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Integration Manager with expertise in SAP CPI/Integration Suite, PI/PO, EDI, and SFTP. The ideal candidate will also possess additional experience in ITSM (IT Service Management) and a strong background in Agile Delivery. Knowledge of the chemical, oil and gas, or refining industries is a significant plus.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Solution Design and Architecture

• Develop comprehensive SAP solutions aligned with business requirements, considering SAP CPI/ Integration Suite, PI/PO, and EDI, and specific nuances of the chemical and oil & gas industry.
• Integrate ITSM processes into the overall solution architecture, ensuring efficient incident, problem, and change management within Integration modules of SAP
• Integrate Agile delivery methodologies to enhance project execution and responsiveness to changing business needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate their needs into effective and scalable SAP solutions.
• Design and document solution architectures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, ITSM frameworks, and Agile principles.

Implementation and Configuration

• Lead the implementation of SAP Integration projects, overseeing the configuration of SAP CPI, PI/PO, Integration Suite, EDI and SFTP and addressing the intricacies of the SAP IS-Oil industry solution.
• Configure SAP CPI / Integration Suite, PI/PO, and EDI to meet specific business requirements.
• Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to security standards and protocols in data transmission and integration processes, implementing encryption and authentication mechanisms where necessary.
• Interface Development: Develop custom interfaces, APIs, and middleware components to enable seamless data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in integration processes, optimizing data transfer and processing times.
• Implement Agile delivery practices, fostering collaboration, and iterative development cycles.

Optimization and Continuous Improvement

• Analyze existing SAP Integration processes within the context of the SAP solution, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Propose and implement enhancements to streamline order fulfillment, logistics, and customer engagement processes, incorporating feedback from Agile retrospectives and ITSM performance metrics.
• Stay informed about SAP updates and new features, providing recommendations for their adoption.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, order to cash, development, and integration, to ensure alignment and integration of SAP Integration processes with overall business objectives.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver successful SAP Integration solutions.

Training and Documentation

• Provide training and guidance to end-users on SAP Integration processes and functionalities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP configurations, customizations, and processes.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or SAP certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years of experience leading SAP integration solutions with expertise in SAP CPI / Integration Suite and PI/PO with a focus on the SAP IS-Oil industry.
• In-depth knowledge of integration technologies, protocols, and standards including HTTP, FTP, EDI, SOAP, and REST.
• Hands-on experience with middleware platforms, API management, and ESB technologies.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP, SAP PI/PO, SAP IDoc, and RFC interfaces.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud-based integration platforms.
• Experience in integrating Ariba supplier into SAP Integration processes.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, integration points, and pricing tools
• Hands-on experience in configuring SAP Integration modules, including customizations, enhancements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
