POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

This Director position seeks new opportunities and relationships to connect Christian high schools with the Christian School Partnership program. Additionally, the Director will maintain and nurture the current relationships with Christian schools and homeschool co-ops. Further, the Director will provide strategic input and take the lead on new partners and strategic visits with current partners. The Director will coordinate with prospective partner faculty and administration to on-board new partners. The Director will also recruit faculty for online dual enrollment and Lead Faculty positions in the partnership. This is a full time (2080 annual hours), exempt position.  

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Represents Cedarville University with excellence, professionalism, and discretion in stewarding internal and external relationships that include CU faculty and staff as well as Dual Enrollment students, parents, and high school administrators and school counselors.
  • Establishes MOUs/Agreements with Christian School Partners.
  • Manages relationships with current Christian School Partners.
  • Oversees partnership enrollment events.
  • Effectively answers email and telephone inquiries from applicants and school representatives.
  • Onboard new partner faculty and staff.
  • Represents Dual Enrollment at CU Friday events as well as other Dual Enrollment promotional activities (i.e., high school events or Christian school conferences).
  • Provides strategic input for marketing and recruitment.
  • Creates copy and drafts for marketing initiatives.
  • Takes lead, as needed, on marketing campaigns and website updates.
  • Implements retention strategies that result in Christian School Partner students matriculating to degree-seeking status.
  • Maintains a thorough and ongoing knowledge of Cedarville’s general education core and its implementation in various degree programs.
  • Understand state-by-state guidance for funding dual enrollment.
  • Advise the Center for Teaching and Learning on feedback and best practices for implementation.
  • Generate leads for adjunct and lead faculty positions within Dual Enrollment offerings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Dual Enrollment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Qualified applicant must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University's Doctrinal StatementCommunity Covenant, and General Workplace Standards
  • Previous experience in high school administration is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills.
  • Adept in customer service and relationship management.
  • Previous experiences in advising, student service, higher education, secondary education, sales, customer service, or similar experiences are required.
  • Recent substantive interactions with high school administrators, students, and families are preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs, as well as an adeptness in developing competence in browser-based applications.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; comfortable in working with pressures created by deadlines.
