Cedarville University's Advancement Division invites applications for an Alumni Engagement Manager. This is a full-time (2080 annual hours), exempt position reporting to the Director of Alumni Engagement. 

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Alumni Engagement Manager works in collaboration with the Director of Alumni Engagement to support programs and strategies to increase alumni engagement. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the planning and execution of all events during Cedarville’s annual Homecoming Weekend
  • Track Homecoming budget during, and all SWOT analysis after the event
  • Handle all incoming communication to the Alumni Office in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Welcome alumni visiting campus or the Alumni Office
  • Maintain and organize details for multiple alumni trips and events throughout the year
  • Participate in the execution of on and off campus alumni events
  • Support a comprehensive strategy for increasing alumni participation rate
  • Manage metrics to track and evaluate alumni engagement
  • Attend regular Advancement staff and organization-wide meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience post graduation in project, program, or event management preferred
  • Demonstrated excellence in:

  8. Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to learn and navigate database software
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and manage volunteers
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with other team members
  • Passionate about the mission of Cedarville University
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to comply with university vehicle use requirements
  • Willingness and ability to travel
