As a Enterprise Intelligence Analyst you will be transforming data in a way that drives the future of Central Insurance. How You Will Make an Impact

• Assume department responsibility as the Data Steward ensuring the fitness of data elements
• Collaborate regularly with IT, Analytics, Actuarial, Finance, and other Business units to ensure data is accurate and assists the organization in making data-driven decisions and recommendations
• Display critical thinking and evaluation when researching and responding to inquiries and referrals
• Develop and utilize BI solutions effectively (e.g. dashboards, reports, analytics, data pulls, insights, etc.) 
• Collaborates across teams, often with Marketing Analytics to perform and interpret data analyses
• Meets with stakeholders to understand needs and provide insights that help meet profit, growth, and expense goals
• Ensure adherence to & reinforcement of delivery best practices
• Actively engaged in the design and implementation of repeatable processes
• Champion data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the department by designing and promoting best practices
• Partner with IT, data, and other BI organizations to advance data & analytical capabilities throughout the enterprise
• Support the BI team in solving complex data or analytical problems
• Delivery of high-priority or advanced BI/data/analytical capabilities
• Guide & influence enterprise data solutions
• Leads projects that involve the creation of BI solutions and support of others within the department
• Trains and serves as a trusted advisor to Associate Business Intelligence Analysts and Business Intelligence Analysts on data requests and processes

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 year related experience
  • Or 4 years related experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge in data architecture
• Strong data visualization development experience with Power-BI
• SQL knowledge and exposure
• Ability to set priorities and plans to meet business goals and objectives
• Ability to shift & balance strategic, high-level thinking with attention to detail
• Ability to lead, motivate & influence without having formal authority
• Ability to act as a thought leader with a focus on innovative & high-quality solutions
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with internal /external customers
• Ability to understand, design & implement end-to-end BI workflows
• Ability to understand Central Insurance’s policies and processes

Preferred

• Alteryx experience
