In this role you will be:
 
1. Conducting assessments: Identifying the needs and challenges of individuals and families within the community.
2. Providing guidance: Assisting clients in navigating the application process for various benefits such as housing assistance, food stamps, healthcare, and utility assistance.
3. Advocating: Representing clients' interests to ensure they receive the benefits they are entitled to and advocating for additional resources or support when needed.
4. Connecting to resources: Linking clients with community resources, such as job training programs, educational opportunities, childcare services, and mental health support.
5. Monitoring progress: Following up with clients to track their progress, address any barriers or challenges they encounter, and adjust support services as necessary.
6. Educating: Providing information and education to clients about budgeting, financial literacy, and other skills to help them become more self-sufficient.
7. Collaborating: Working with other organizations and agencies, such as government agencies, non-profits, and healthcare providers, to coordinate services and maximize support for clients.
8. Documenting: Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, assessments, service plans, and outcomes for reporting and evaluation purposes. 
 
Qualifications: 
Undergraduate degree in Social Work or related field
Bilingual Spanish
